I am 45 years old. 11 years ago I ran the Great North Run which is held in Newcastle upon Tyne, England United Kingdom. It is a half marathon. As is very popular in the UK most of the runners are "fun runners" raising money for charity. Others taking part are disabled or running in male or female elite races.
12 years ago my Aunt died from an asthmatic coronary.
People still die from asthma and more and more people are effected by it.
I am running for Asthma UK and I hope to raise a lot of money-I also want to lose weight and get fit and healthy again.
